Garden City Peace Marathon 2025

The Garden City Peace Marathon 2025,, aims to promote peace, unity, and social development through sports.

The marathon seeks to unite individuals across ethnic, cultural, and social divides in Rivers State and beyond under the theme:
'Running for Peace, Unity & Sustainable Development.'
This event also aims to promote physical wellness, youth empowerment, and community engagement while showcasing the beauty and hospitality of Port Harcourt City, known as the Garden City.

Objectives
• Promote peace, unity, and social harmony in Port Harcourt and Nigeria at large.

• Use sports as a tool for community development and youth empowerment.

• Encourage fitness, wellness, and social inclusion.

• Strengthen partnership between government, private sector, and civil society for peacebuilding.

• Boost local tourism and the positive image of Rivers State.
