Garden City Peace Marathon - Running for Peace, Unity & Sustainable Development
The Maiden Edition of the GARDEN CITY PEACE MARATHON – 2025 is scheduled to be held on the 20th of December 2025, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
It is a 10km marathon that will commence at Isaac Boro Park and end at New GRA, Port Harcourt.
The Garden City Peace Marathon 2025 aims to promote peace, unity, and social development through the power of sports.
The marathon seeks to unite individuals across ethnic, cultural, and social divides in Rivers State and beyond under the theme:
'Running for Peace, Unity & Sustainable Development.'
This event also aims to promote physical wellness, youth empowerment, and community engagement while showcasing the beauty and hospitality of Port Harcourt City, known as the Garden City. Despite being a Peace Marathon, it is a competition, hence there will be winners.
